The rules for using CyberForge Academy — authorized use only, lab-only practice, and AI-issued credentials.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

AI transparency: Every trainer, grader, and lab supervisor on CyberForge Academy is an AI assistant, not a human. Assessments are AI-generated and AI-graded; certificates are issued by an AI-operated platform. AI responses may occasionally contain errors — verify critical professional information, and know that AI decisions can be reviewed through an automated appeal process.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using CyberForge Academy, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Responsible-Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Authorized use only

CyberForge Academy teaches offensive and defensive cybersecurity for lawful, authorized purposes. You may apply what you learn only to systems you own or are explicitly authorized in writing to test. You must never use skills, tools, or techniques from this platform against systems you do not have permission to assess. Doing so may be a crime and is a material breach of these terms.

3. Lab-only practice

All practical exercises must be performed inside the isolated lab environments we provide. These environments are monitored, and commands that would target systems outside the training network are blocked. Attempting to bypass lab isolation, reach external systems, or use the platform to stage real-world attacks is strictly prohibited and will result in suspension.

4. AI-conducted instruction and assessment

All instruction, tutoring, lab supervision, grading, and support are provided by AI agents rather than human instructors. AI output may occasionally contain errors; you are responsible for independently verifying critical professional information. Decisions such as grades, recommendations, and restrictions are explainable and may be appealed through our automated process, as described in the AI transparency policy.

5. AI-issued certificates

Certificates are issued by our AI certificate authority. Each credential carries a unique serial and verification code and documents the skills you demonstrated. Certificates explicitly disclose that instruction and assessment were AI-conducted. They are not equivalent to, and do not claim to be, a government or vendor accreditation. We may revoke a certificate if it was obtained through fraud, integrity violations, or breach of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not share, sell, or automate the harvesting of flags, answers, or assessment content.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or coerce agents into unsafe or unauthorized guidance.
  • Do not use the platform to harass others, distribute malware, or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity or another person’s authorization.
  • Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

7. Accounts & subscriptions

Access to courses, lab hours, and certifications depends on your plan. Subscriptions renew per your chosen interval until cancelled. You may change, cancel, or resume plans from your account settings; fees already paid are governed by the terms shown at checkout.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our responsible-use policy, or applicable law — including any attempt to use the platform against unauthorized targets.

9. Disclaimer & liability

The platform is provided “as is.” Because instruction and assessment are AI-generated, we do not warrant that all content is error-free, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for how you apply what you learn. You alone are responsible for ensuring your activities are lawful and authorized.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
